The Skills Service offers a unique package of training and support for employers in the Leeds City Region. WYCC Skills Service Advisors will explore opportunities with businesses to offer the right skills solutions that can be part funded by the European Social Fund.
The Skills Service
The Skills Service is managed by the West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges (WYCC) and funded by the European Social Fund (ESF).
The Skills Service offers opportunity, not just funding, providing solutions for participants to overcome barriers that prevent learning or access programmes that can support specific needs.
The service supports SMEs based in the Leeds City Region to grow by providing advice, support and access to training.
We want to support employers’ growth ambitions by offering:
- Free, comprehensive Skills Planning sessions,
- A source of the most appropriate training for the business’s workforce, and
- 40% funding from the European Social Fund (ESF) for eligible businesses.
