Successful Software Projects
Have you got an idea for some software, need a new website, or have an inkling that a process or system could work better?
Would you like to get a developer involved but don’t know where to start?
Have you tried a software project before only to see it fail, and you’d like to understand what happened and why?
In this seminar, Edward Patmore from Enhanced Coding will discuss the software development process from the initial idea to final delivery – incorporating useful advice on describing your idea, working with a developer, and how to get the result you want.
Developers and development companies don’t know your business as well as you, and often approach problems in a completely different way. This can be their biggest strength, but can also cause unnecessary friction on a project. This seminar will give you insight into the mind of a developer, highlight common areas of confusion, and give advice and tips of how to overcome them.
The key outcome of any software project should be delivery of software that you’re happy with – we’ll give tips on how to make sure that happens, and how to correct it if it does stray off course.
Seminar will consist of 35 minute talk followed by a 10 minute question and answer session.
